After an early breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a full-day game drive, spotting lions, leopards, giraffes, and more. You’ll explore the park in your private vehicle, stopping for a picnic lunch during your game drive, and eventually head to your camp for the evening.

After an early breakfast, set off toward Serengeti National Park. Drive through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands with optional stops at Olduvai Gorge or a Maasai village. Arrive in central Serengeti in the afternoon and enjoy a game drive en route to your camp.

Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti’s vast landscapes, tracking wildlife, and witnessing nature at its finest. Depending on the season, you may see the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the plains. Enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing your safari, then return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will drive from Serengeti National Park to the Ngorongoro Crater. When you first see Ngorongoro Crater, it looks like a forgotten world. Concealed by the steep volcanic walls is a pristine wilderness including sweeping savannah, pockets of acacia woodland, and glistening lakes and swamps. The crater was created when a large volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself two to three million years ago. The drive down into the crater is an adventure in itself and when you reach the crater floor, you quickly find yourself amongst large numbers of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and more than 500 bird species. The crater provides you with the best chance of seeing the endangered black rhino, which can sometimes be spotted in the open grasslands. After a full afternoon inside the crater, you will head to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay in Kitela.

Wake up early for a once-in-a-lifetime cultural visit to the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes around Lake Eyasi. You’ll join the Hadzabe bushmen on a morning hunt with traditional bows and arrows, and later visit the Datoga blacksmiths who forge tools from scrap metal. After this enriching experience and a local-style breakfast or early lunch, transferring to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed and transferred to your beachfront resort. Spend the evening unwinding on the white sandy beaches.
