Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. After a short briefing, we set off towards Tarangire National Park (approx. 2.5-hour drive). Known as the Land of Giants, Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife.

On a game drive, you’ll spot lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, and more, as well as predators lurking in the tall grass. The Tarangire River, a vital water source, attracts a vast array of animals, making for thrilling wildlife sightings.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park, followed by an afternoon game drive. Later, drive to Karatu, a charming town near Ngorongoro, for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay at a safari lodge or tented camp.

After an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most spectacular wildlife destinations in Africa.

The crater floor is home to an astonishing variety of animals, including lions, elephants, cheetahs, hyenas, hippos, and the rare black rhino. With its natural boundaries, the crater offers one of the best chances to see the Big Five in a single game drive.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot by the hippo pool, taking in the breathtaking views. After an extensive game drive, ascend the crater and begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon.
